On 29th December 2023, Madam Chan Haw Kee visited the Lau King
Howe Hospital Memorial Museum. Madam Chan Haw Kee, a retired pharmacy
assistant who dedicated an impressive 29 years of service at Lau King Howe
Hospital from 1965 until 1994, is now warmly welcomed home. At the age of
81, she is savoring the joys of retirement, reflecting on a career marked
by dedication and contributions to the healthcare sector.
On 23rd December 2023, Madam Soh Gek Hua visited the Lau King Howe
Hospital Memorial Museum. Madam Soh Gek Hua, a retired midwife, attended
Lau King Howe Hospital from 1967 to 1968, dedicating herself to two years
of comprehensive training that laid the foundation for her illustrious
career in healthcare. Following the completion of her training, Madam
Soh Gek Hua earnestly embraced her responsibilities and commenced her
duties at Clinic Belaga, where she tirelessly contributed to the well-being
of countless individuals. She is now 75 years old.

Mr. Lau Kim Foo visited Lau King Howe Hospital Memorial Museum on 18, December 2023.
On 17th December 2023, Puan January Ak Luban visited the Lau King
Howe Hospital Memorial Museum. Puan January Ak Luban, a retired midwife, attended
Lau King Howe Hospital from 1973 to 1975, completing three years of study
before embarking on her duties at Health Sub Centre Sungai Bangkit, Kapit,
until 1977. Following this, she returned to work at Lau King Howe Hospital
until 1984 before being transferred to Ipoh, Perak. She is now 70 years old.

Hospital Memorial Museum. The shooting was hosted by Steffy Sharon.
On 17th September 2023, Madam Anita Liaw Chai Bian visited the
Lau King Howe Hospital Memorial Museum. Madam Anita Liaw Chai Bian, a former
student of staff nurse with midwifery at Lau King Howe Hospital from 1982 to
1983, completed one year of post graduate study before commencing her duties
at Lau King Howe Hospital from 1983 to 1984. She is now a Nursing Lecturer
at Open University Malaysia. At over 60 years old, she was pleasantly
surprised and filled with nostalgia upon visiting this memorial hall,
brimming with memories of Lau King Howe Hospital.

On 13th September 2023, Puan Khamsiah Madon visited Lau King Howe
Hospital Memorial Museum. Puan Khamsiah Madon, a retired Medical Laboratory
Technologist, also dedicated 9 years of her career to Lau King Howe Hospital,
starting in 1985 after her graduation. She is also now 59 years old and
enjoying her retirement.
On 13th September 2023, Puan Sofiah binti Rajak visited Lau
King Howe Hospital Memorial Museum. Puan Sofiah binti Rajak, a retired
dental nurse, served at Lau King Howe Hospital for 9 years, from 1985
until 1994, following her graduation in 1985. She is currently 59 years
old and enjoying her retirement.

King Howe Hospital Memorial Museum. Puan Dayang Jamiah bt Awang Lai was a
student of Community Nurse at Lau King Howe Hospital from March 1982 until
September 1984, completing 2 and a half years of study before beginning her
duty at Klinik Desa KD Nanga Bena, Kapit. She graduated on September in the
year 1984. She is now 62 years old.

graduated on March in the year 1978 and was a top student at that time.
She is now 66 years old.

On 21st March 2023, the Sarawak Museum Department conducted a storyline
workshop event for the Lau King Howe Hospital Memorial Museum. The event
was attended by representatives from the University Technology Sarawak,
Sibu Health Department, Sarawak Chinese Culture Association, Sarawak
Chinese Annual Conference, and United Chinese Association. They are
