On 23rd August 2026, the Lau King Howe Hospital Memorial Museum welcomed visitors from Henan, China, including 23 members of the Henan Performing Arts Delegation, who were in Sibu to participate in the Borneo Cultural Concert, co-organised by the Confucius Institute at the University of Technology Sarawak (UTS). The visit also included a delegation led by Dean Ma Yingxin from the Confucius Institute at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), together with Mdm. Han Fu Le from the Confucius Institute at the University of Technology Sarawak (UTS).
